After writing the autobiography, I’ve gotten pretty comfortable talking about my hair pulling š And while I do still pull, it’s not such a big deal now that it’s no longer a secret. I don’t let it define me like I did back in high school. But I am hoping to kick the habit one of these days . . .
will there be a second book of akward????????????

I’m so glad you enjoyed Awkward! My spin off sequel is called Decked with Holly and it comes out September 25th. It isn’t set at Smith High School but it does include some of my personal favorite characters from Awkward (*cough* Tim) and it is a whole lot of fun. The third book in the series (Invisible) will take place at Smith High School and will be from Jane’s point of view. I can’t wait to hear what you think of both books! I just received some advanced reader copies of Decked with Holly, so be sure to keep checking my website for opportunities to win a copy!
